In February 2009, a man had a dream. His dream was to create the most moderately-successful happy-hour comedy/talk/variety hour in the history of Madis...on, WI. Two years later, Dan Potacke has achieved his dream and now he wants the people to come out and share in the celebration with him. On February 24th, it's The Dan Potacke Show: 2nd Anniversary Special.

“In my wildest fantasies, I only expected to have this show last for about two months,” said Dan Potacke.
Prepare for a night full of magic: there will be jokes and skits but there will also be tears. For two years, the Wheel of Fantasticness has given audience members the chance to play amazing games with wondrous prizes, but alas, the Wheel has taken its last spin. At this show, the original Wheel of Fantasticness will be retired and a new Wheel, named the Son of The Wheel of Fantasticness Junior, will be introduced in an epic ceremony.
Two of Dan Potacke’s favorite guests will be sitting down for new interviews to talk about their current projects and how an appearance on The Dan Potacke Show changed their lives. Mr. Shane O’Neill, of Screaming Cyn Cyn and the Pons and Shane Shane fame, will chat about his recent adventures travelling and touring throughout these United States. Rob Matsushita will give the audience a preview of his back-to-back shows he is writing and directing for Broom Street Theatre, a play with the curious title “Hitler Was Right” and a collection of shorts called “And Other Plays.”
The show will also feature stand-up comedy from Adam Waldron. Adam is one of the funniest and busiest comics in Wisconsin, regularly performing for crowds throughout the Midwest.
It's at the Frequency, 121 W Main St. No cover but you must be 18+ to attend.
