Coming to celebrate Potacke's birthday will be the folks from What's Your Damage? - A show where people read from the most meaningful/embarrassing documents from their teenage years. After a couple years of hibernation, What's Your Damage is coming back April 19th at the Johnson Public House.

We'll also have stand-up from struggling local comedian Alan Talaga. It's his birthday this month as well so Potacke lets him have a few minutes once-a-year for this very occasion.

That's April 11th at 7 PM at the Frequency, 121 W Main. As always, it's 18+ and there is no cover to attend.

Joining me will be local theatre guy Rob O'Matsushita. He's directing the new play "Superhero Boogie" at Broom Street Theatre. The show, which runs from March 22nd to April 13th, features performers acting out bad children's records from the 1970's.

Additionally, we'll have stand-up from Mr. Nate Bjork. Nate has started posting ultra-short movie reviews on his website, natebjork.com. Here's a ultra-ultra-short review of his stand-up: funny.

Joining me this time will be local musician Vanessa Tortolano. She sings, she also does improv, she makes drinks out of fungus and she was born in Hawaii but lives here for some reason I don't understand. Those will be fun things for me to ask her about, you'll enjoy watching our banter.

We'll also have comedy from Jay Abbondanza. He's a charming soul who deserves to have articles written about his comedic prowess.

oining me for the first Potacke of '13 will be Annabel Lee and Rockwell Rice from A Torrid Affair! Annabel writes songs and signs songs. Writing AND singing, for those who remember Econ 102, that's vertical integration! Rockwell plays every instrument you and possibly imagine and some you can't! A tigerphone? HE CAN PLAY IT!

We'll also have stand-up by Jason Punswick. Jason's laughter is incredibly loud. His giggles have an auditory range of about half a mile. DON'T ASK HOW NOISY A CHORTLE WOULD BE!
